چکیده
Purpose: To investigate the effect of Quyu Xiaozhong recipe (QYXZR) on acute mastitis induced by Staphylococcus aureus in rats via TLR4/NF-κB signal pathway.
Methods: The rat model was constructed injecting into fourth pair nipples 5-7 days after parturition. were treated with drugs 12 h injection. Pathological changes mammary tissue determined using hematoxylin-eosin (H&E) staining. Myeloperoxidase (MPO) kit used to evaluate MPO activity. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) employed determine levels inflammatory factors, while protein expression TLR4, NF-κB-p65, and IκB-α Western blot.
Results: QYXZR intervention significantly attenuated pathological damage alleviated aureus-induced mastitis. At same time, reduced factors (p < 0.05). Further molecular mechanistic studies revealed that exerted anti-inflammatory effects inhibiting Conclusion: alleviates caused inhibition pathway, thus, providing scientific theoretical basis for extensive use this traditional Chinese medicine treatment

متن کاملViscum album Exerts Anti-Inflammatory Effect by Selectively Inhibiting Cytokine-Induced Expression of Cyclooxygenase-2
Viscum album (VA) preparations are extensively used as complementary therapy in cancer and are shown to exert anti-tumor activities which involve the cytotoxic properties, induction of apoptosis, inhibition of angiogenesis and several other immunomodulatory mechanisms. In addition to their application in cancer therapy, VA preparations have also been successfully utilized in the treatment of se...
متن کاملVaccinium bracteatum Thunb. Exerts Anti-Inflammatory Activity by Inhibiting NF-κB Activation in BV-2 Microglial Cells
This study was designed to evaluate the pharmacological effects of Vaccinium bracteatum Thunb. methanol extract (VBME) on microglial activation and to identify the underlying mechanisms of action of these effects. The anti-inflammatory properties of VBME were studied using lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated BV-2 microglial cells. We measured the production of nitric oxide (NO), inducible NO sy...

The present study was aimed to investigate the effects of guggulsterone (GS) on proinflammatory responses as well as the underlying molecular mechanisms in macrophage upon lipopolysaccharide (LPS) stimulation. Effects of GS on viability of Raw264.7 cells were examined using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay. Real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was e...
متن کاملIsovitexin Exerts Anti-Inflammatory and Anti-Oxidant Activities on Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Acute Lung Injury by Inhibiting MAPK and NF-κB and Activating HO-1/Nrf2 Pathways
Oxidative damage and inflammation are closely associated with the pathogenesis of acute lung injury (ALI). Thus, we explored the protective effect of isovitexin (IV), a glycosylflavonoid, in the context of ALI. To accomplish this, we created in vitro and in vivo models by respectively exposing macrophages to lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and using LPS to induce ALI in mice. In vitro, our results sho...
